Popular Items at My School

So for this post I decided that I would write about some popular things at my high school. Granted my high school is quite small. We have 400 students enrolled and are a private parochial school. Generally some of the kids that go here have access to more money since there is a hefty price that goes along to going to school here. I thought it would be fun to share some popular items people have at school here and I would love to hear what some popular trends are by you or at your school!

So the first popular item at school is Birkenstocks. Many girls have the brand name (including myself, not the one pictured above though!) or some have knockoffs from Rue 21, Target, or Walmart. I love them because they are so comfortable and match pretty much any outfit. Most people wear them everyday but since the weather here has been chilly as of recent so people haven't been wearing them so much because of that! These are one of my favorite trends as of recent!

The next popular trend is Vera Bradley. This is my favorite trend by far! I generally wear pretty plain clothes so I like having a bit of a print this way. The backpack pictured above is the backpack I have and I absolutely love it! It's comfy and cute and has a back pocket for my laptop. Most girls have a backpack, lanyard, lunch bag, or computer sleeve that they bring to school. All the items are easy to carry around and are very comfy to have on your back.

Sperry's are the next popular trend at my school. Most people have a pair or two (or like me a lot!) either actual ones or knockoffs kind of like the Birks. They are comfy and more of a winter shoe since they do cover your toes, but some are more summery. The above pair pictured are the most popular style of Sperry's. They are really comfy but the downside is the leather can be scratched which stinks. 

Lokai bracelets are also pretty popular. In my opinion I don't really know why.... besides the fact that it's cool that it has particles from the highest and lowest points of earth. I think they kinda look dumb with things, but that's just my opinion!

Leggings are an extremely popular clothing item anywhere! At my school they are against dress code to wear unless you wear a dress code dress over them. But people still do get away with wearing them by themselves. I find them very comfortable but I generally like to wear a longer top with them to cover my butt.

Long sweaters are a must have in cold Wisconsin! I have a lot of sweaters and like to wear them frequently. They are cute with all kinds of shirts, necklaces and so cozy! (especially for those days you don't want to be at school, but in bed wrapped up in a blanket!) You can find them pretty much everywhere and sometimes I style mine with shorts.

Uggs or pretty much any kinds of boots are pretty popular. Most people wear them fall, winter and into early spring. I don't have a pair, but depending on the style you have they can be pretty cute. 

The last trend I'm going to talk about is Patagonia. You can see various girls wearing these jackets or zip ups around school. Some of the patterns/colors can be pretty out there but they can be cute!
